What is the Difference Between Changing and Acceptance
Acceptance is one of the essential things in one’s life. You find that accepting who you are comes with changing on how you conduct yourself. Putting into consideration that some health problems cannot be changed but you will just need to accept and move on with your life. Additionally, there are also some health issue that must be characterized by building the habits since accepting them cannot make you enjoy life as you would want to.
At least one has the opportunity to live a happy life even though you will not enjoy it more than the people who were born healthy without any health problem. They always feel proud of themselves, and they enjoy life to the fullest adding on a good diet. Acceptance does not necessarily mean cordoning, and you should not lose hope since there are very many levels of acceptance that can see you through. There is nothing more good than seeing yourself truly how you are and allowing yourself to change from one point to another. Doing things for the sake of it and pretending that you don’t know the person you truly are will not help you in doing away with your condition.
On the other hand, changing yourself will require you to adapt, improvise and overcome issues in our lives and face the challenges that come with them. To accomplish a full change in the way you are should be stimulated by the external stress which will push you to do it. This is something that many people know that the only people who can survive are the ones who can adapt to the change effectively. These things are not in line with one another just like accepting yourself will not determine your change.
Another thing that you should know is that you can only think of changing your situation after recognizing that there is need to. For example when you want to change how you look, healthy diet, regular exercises, body sculpting are some of the stuff which can help you achieve your objectives. But if you are in your comfort zone you will not even realize that making a change can help you look great. You will not be able to achieve more if you are in your comfort zone but you need to move out of it to see more opportunities.
When you will be able to accept yourself, you will reap a lot. Not before you accept will you know that you should change. Some people always find this to be hard, but you can do it if you live by your interest, hobbies and the potential.
